Hosted by Star Jones and Lara Sophie, it is with our deepest devotion we welcome you to retreat with us in Portugal in October 2025. A 6-day intimate women’s retreat, being held in the presence of love, side by side. Let the calling of your heart lead the way and step into the mystery. Surrounded by the grace of autumnal nature as she reminds you to slow down and shed the layers that no longer serve you.
This feels like a dream coming to life. We first met during a Yoga Teacher Training in India in 2022, and now, as soul sisters, we are honoured to co-create and hold this sacred container. We know in our hearts that Shanti Soul will become a portal for many women to journey through in the years to come.

will explore
Somatics
Explore Somatic Practices with us that support you in releasing physical and emotional tension from your body. It’s a beautiful journey of self-discovery - learning to love and honour your body, heal old wounds, and create a deep sense of peace within yourself and with those around you. This is your chance to nurture your inner fire, reclaim your strength, and embrace a life full of deeper connections and transformation.
Daily Circle Gatherings
The circle is a safe, nurturing space to slow down, drop into the heart, and release judgment. Here, feelings are honored, and you can explore your depths, shedding old layers and connecting beyond the surface. In community, we soften and witness one another’s journeys, opening the door to transformation. It is a return, a deep knowing—a reminder that there is only so much we can do alone. We need one another to thrive, to heal, and to rise together.
Breathwork
Throughout the retreat, breathwork will be naturally woven into various practices, whether incorporated into yoga, somatics, or other activities. This powerful tool will serve as a constant companion on our journey, guiding us to reconnect, stay present, and feel grounded. By focusing on our breath, we can journey deeper into our bodies, unlocking new layers of awareness while shedding what is no longer ours to carry. As we allow our breath to guide us, we'll create space for healing, clarity, and growth.
Yoga (Vinyasa & Yin)
Let Lara guide you through a strong, flowing vinyasa practice, where breath and movement dance together. This blend of strength and softness creates a perfect balance, grounding your body and mind, leaving you feeling nourished and renewed.
Star will lead a candlelit yin yoga and meditation, offering a restorative journey within. Through gentle asanas, breath, and meditation, you’ll surrender deeply, releasing what no longer serves you, and reconnecting with your inner world.
Meditation & Silences
In our retreat, silence becomes a powerful space for inner reflection and peace. Through meditation, you’ll embrace moments of stillness, allowing your mind to quiet and your heart to open. In the absence of words, deeper clarity and connection emerge, inviting you to listen to the wisdom within and find tranquility in the present moment.
Nature Walks
We will enjoy the stunning nature in our glorious retreat location together. The Shanti Space is a home away from home, where we are able to explore nature within and without in its full beauty.

Meet your Guides
Star Jones
is the founder of Shanti Cinta, dedicated to creating sacred spaces rooted in love, unity, and truth. She facilitates Women's Circles, retreats, and Mother's Blessings, while also guiding Yin Yoga and Sound Journey experiences.

Lara Sophie
is the founder of The Soulshine Space, where she is supporting people moving out of their minds and into their bodies.
With a background as a former police officer, she spent years numbing her body through extreme bodybuilding, eating disorders, and a need for control. Initially disconnected from her body, boundaries, and inner voice, her journey back to herself began. Started as physical yoga practice and evolving into a deep commitment to healing and expanding human consciousness.
Today she is specialized in somatic and trauma therapy, shares her yoga practice on and off the mat and holds international retreats committed to wellbeing and holistic health.

About the venue
The Shanti Space is a hidden gem, nestled in a serene woodland valley just 30 minutes from Lisbon and 15 minutes from the breathtaking shores of Ericeira. Surrounded by fruit trees, ancient cork oaks, flourishing grapevines, and a gentle stream at the garden’s edge, this sacred sanctuary offers the perfect setting for our journey together.
With a stunning glass-walled garden shala, an outdoor yoga deck overlooking the treetops, and beautifully designed bedrooms, The Shanti Space will be our home - a place to slow down, reconnect, and surrender to the embrace of nature.



Nourishment

We will be nourished by beautiful Beatriz with two delicious plant-based meals and a naturally sweet treat each day. Throughout the day you will also be able to enjoy water, tea, coffee, fruit and nuts, ensuring you never go hungry. Any dietary request please do let us know.

To secure your place, please choose your room preference here. A non-refundable deposit of 30% secures your place and the remaining balance needs to be paid by 13th August.

We can arrange a shared or private taxi from the airport to the venue for you! If you’d like this option, just let us know. We will update you with additional costs & timings as the day comes closer. x

The deposit is non-refundable. If you need to cancel let us know as early as possible.
60+ days before the retreat: Full refund minus the deposit.
30-59 days before the retreat: 50% refund (minus deposit) or option to transfer to a future retreat.
Less than 30 days: No refund, but participant may transfer their spot to someone else.

Check in from 4pm on 13th, with our welcome dinner starting at 6pm. Check out is at 11am on the 18th, after we enjoy our final meal together.

It is mild and pleasant autumnal weather in October; the average daily maximum is 24 C and the average daily minimum is 15 C.

We will update you with a packing list closer to the date. For now, we can let you know that yoga mats will be provided. It is advisable to pack layers for the evening at this time of year as it is cooler evenings with warmer days.
